The daily newspaper “Marca” revealed that Kylian Mbappé had already signed his contract with Real. His salary is lower, but bonuses can change everything.
The French international’s contract with Real Madrid has already been concluded. According to reports by Spanish media outlet Marca, Kylian Mbappé signed a five-year contract with the Madrid club next season.
The sports daily even puts forward the terms of this contract which does not promise a salary as exorbitant as in Paris Saint-Germain, for reasons of agreement in the locker room, but offers particularly interesting bonuses for the tricolor striker.
According to Marca, Kylian Mbappé has already signed his contract, which is expected to come into effect on July 1.
He reportedly asked Nasser al-Khelaïfi not to make him another offer to try to convince him to stay. The Madrilenas went on the offensive in January 2024 with a similar offer to the previous year.
A salary that can evolve
However, a condition is set out in this contract, the salary of the Frenchman must not blow up the meters. The president of Real Madrid, Fiorentino Pérez, demanded that his salary be in accordance with the club’s scales in order not to create tensions in the changing rooms.
This sum, estimated at between 15 and 20 million euros per year in net terms, remains the highest in the club.
It should be noted that this could be complemented by various objectives set out in the contract.
The Spanish daily offers a signing bonus, a loyalty bonus, such as the one he signed with PSG, or other individual bonuses, such as a goal level to reach each season, a win at the Ballon d’Or or titles won in selection.
These contractual conditions do not stop there. If the premiums mentioned above are reached, they could well be set for the following year and accumulate with new premiums.
For example, if Kylian Mbappé fills his goal quota two consecutive seasons, he will win the first season and two seasons. His salary can thus increase every year.
